Location of University of Liège
Understanding of the foundations of Management and Economic Sciences, through an introduction to the following basic subjects:
- political economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics…
main roles in business: finance, marketing, human resources management, supply chain management - Understanding of the legal, societal, and human environment of organizations: law, sociology, political sciences, etc.
- Acquisition of basic methodological tools: mathematical modeling, statistics, IT;
- Proficiency in at least two foreign languages: English (at a level equivalent to the International C1 standard) and another language (at minimum B2 level);
- Ability to critically apply learned knowledge to the reality observed in a simple field situation and/or in a transversal context;
- Ability to summarize and communicate the knowledge acquired and the observations made;
- Capacity to integrate management decisions into their economic context (mixed training);
- Broad exposure to the professions of economics and management;
- Particular accent on understanding the human, social and legal context of organizations.
