Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences lies at the heart of the beautiful Finnish lake district in South-Savo region. We are a modern higher education institution, offering high quality education and more fields of study than any other University of Applied Sciences in Finland. There are 20 degree programmes, of which three in English. With a total amount of 4500 students and 200 full-time lecturers Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences is a place of vibrant student activity.

Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences hosts over 200 international students from more than 30 countries. In addition, we have several lecturers and experts from our partner institutions visiting Mikkeli each year, especially during the International Summer Term organised annually. The Finnish Ministry of Education has awarded Mikkeli Univrsity of Applied Sciences five times for its international activities.
