Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences offers degree studies and non-degree courses.
The undergraduate (four-year Bachelor degree) graduates are awarded a Bachelor´s degree and the professional qualification of a secondary school teacher. The graduate (two-year Master degree) graduates are awarded a Master's degree and the professional qualification of a gymnasium (a secondary school providing higher quality secondary education) teacher. The postgraduate (three-year Doctor degree) graduates are awarded a PhD.
The degree studies are organised in different forms:
* full-time studies (day and evening studies)
* part-time (extramural studies).
The main language of instruction at LUES is Lithuanian. However, there are a few undergraduate and postgraduate study programmes such as English Philology, German Philology, French Philology, Russian Philology, Polish Philology and Byelorussian Philology which offer most of the courses in the respective languages.
Foreign students are invited to enrol in the English Philology Bachelor and Master degree programmes.
Erasmus students from partner institutions are welcome to take ECTS courses for a semester or a study year.
We also organise Erasmus Intensive Lithuanian Language courses every summer for foreign citizens.
