Sports Centre
The Sports Centre facilities offer a range of activities such as fitness centre, gymnasium, dance studio, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts. Media Centre
Yasar University is home to a state-of-the-art media centre and holds the title of being the first university in Turkey where there are TV and radio studios with a High Definition Broadcasting System. Halls of Residence
The newly built halls of residence are located within five minutes walk of the university campus. They offer students a safe and comfortable environment as well as providing entertainment options during their study years. The buildings accommodate some 400 students. All international students are guaranteed a place to stay in their first year of study.
All rooms (twin or triple bed options) have en suite bathrooms and are furnished to the highest standard with the students’ needs in mind. A mini fridge, free unlimited wireless internet access, hot water (24 hours a day), as well as central heating in winter and air conditioning in summer, are also provided. Other facilities include a refectory, a café, a market shop, a laundry, and an ATM. There are also study rooms, a TV room, as well as areas for playing table tennis, billiards, and keeping fit.
Student Life
From rock climbing and scuba diving to photography and mathematics, Yasar University is keen to provide its students with an environment in which they have the opportunity to pursue many extra-curricular activities. The many student clubs cater to a variety of different interests and talents, there is something for everyone!

Yasar Basketball Program
The Yasar University Basketball Programme began the last season in the Second League of the Turkish University Sports Federation. However after a series of convincing victories over their group opponents (72-41 over Osmangazi University, 83-34 over Afyonkacatepe University, 90-29 over Kanya Karatay University and 91-74 over Süleyman Demirel University), Yasar was promoted to the First League for the upcoming season.
Student Council
The Student Council represents the student body at Yasar University, informing and conferring with the university committee when necessary. The Student Council regularly meets in their office, which is located above a spectacularly converted water tower overlooking the university campus.
