Apart from being the seat of the Dutch government, stately The Hague is also a lively city. As home to the International Court of Justice, and various other judicial institutions and crime courts, The Hague is considered to be the Legal Capital of the World. It is also home to over 80 different (international) organisations in the field of Peace, Justice and Security. There are 98 Embassies and 12 Consulates. The Hague is the third-largest city of the Netherlands and houses more than 27,000 students of which 3,500 international students coming from over a 100 different countries. Inholland The Hague is a friendly, sociable and ambitious University of Applied Sciences which takes note of the social challenges of the city and events in the worlds of international business, politics and government. It is involved in the community and accessible to everyone. Since this is a relatively small-scale campus, we are able to pay even more attention to you as an individual student and to addressing specific student issues.

Services & Facilities

The Inholland campus in The Hague has many facilities: a good-quality restaurant, a beautiful garden, a library, various places to work and study either alone or with other students, a quiet room and modern computer workstations. There’s even a temping agency for students. Inholland has extensive, up-to-date ICT facilities, enabling you to complete your assignments on-site or at home, and it has its own student association organising many different activities for you throughout the year.

The building is located nearby the train station of ´Den Haag Centraal´ (7 minutes walk) and is accessible for people in wheelchairs.
A unique feature is 'De Ooievaar', a reconstructed historic coffee bar, which brings the history of The Hague back to life.

The best places for going out in The Hague are near the 'Grote Markt', 'Plaats', 'Plein' and 'Buitenhof'. There are many bars and restaurants in other squares too. There are excellent nightclubs and music halls such as 'Het Paard' for popular music in The Hague.

Student lounge bar TREES

Inholland The Hague has its own student lounge bar TREES. TREES is on the ground floor of the student hall of residence next to the building of Inholland The Hague. ESN ESN is an international student organization whose mission is to encourage mobility in higher education under the principle "Students Helping Students". Besides organizing the Mentor System, ESN can give you support before and after your arrival. They will help you to integrate in the new country and community by organizing socio-cultural activities, sports activities and workshops aimed at the exchange and international students.
