The FH Kufstein currently has over 1,200 students from more than 30 nations who create an international, multicultural atmosphere. The fact that we have more than 150 partner universities worldwide means that 200 international incoming students are hosted by the FH Kufstein annually and that an even larger number of our students go out for a semester or year to study abroad. What’s more, with approximately 100 faculty members and employees as well as over 200 contracted lecturers, the FH Kufstein plays a significant role in the regional economy.
The range of bachelor and master degree programs – offered in both full- and part-time formats – have been conceived to meet the professional demands of the respective industries. The FH Kufstein has also developed a postgraduate program in cooperation with several internationally renowned partner universities. The graduates of our degree programs thus have excellent prospects for filling challenging positions in their field and for advancing their careers.

ENTREPRENEURIAL SERVICES FOR STUDENTS AND GRADUATES
For a significant number of graduates, students and scientists, self-employment has long since been considered and interesting career alternative to employment within an existing organization. It is therefore not surprising that many young entrepreneurs and business founders have a university degree.
According to a 2007 study of Austria carried out by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, 2.44% of the adult population work as young entrepreneurs and business founders. Out of this group about 20% hold an academic title.
Establishing a business, whether done immediately after graduation or after several years of employment, is connected with overcoming a broad spectrum of difficulties. Therefore, an equally broad spectrum of support activities is necessary to successfully get the business moving on the right track.
Attractive campus in charming surroundings
The FH Kufstein resides in a building that contains modern lecture rooms and work spaces, a library and a cafeteria. The campus is located on the green, generous park area that lies adjacent to the city center. Many sport and leisure-time possibilities as well as the nearby cultural centers and regional capital cities generate an exciting, international flair.
With regards to leisure time activities, there are countless possibilities that can be taken advantage of in Kufstein and its surroundings. In the summer, our students enjoy doing sports such as jogging, mountain biking, climbing, rafting, and swimming. The winter brings on skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski touring, sledding and much more. For those students who are interested in a varied cultural program, there are, for example, the broad regional offerings as part of the Tirolean Summer and the famous passion play in Erl. The nearby cultural centers of Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich extend the spectrum of events even further.
