University Centre West Anglia is a joint partnership between Anglia Ruskin University and the College of West Anglia. Located in the heart of the historic town of King's Lynn, this is the largest campus of the group that includes sites at Isle Campus (Wisbech) and Milton (outskirts of Cambridge).
The College of West Anglia has excellent facilities, including a state of the art e-learning centre, multi-gym and sports centre, restaurant, coffee shop and children's centre (nursery). There is also provision for further opportunity to study at Isle Campus and Milton.

As well as using our excellent facilities to train our students, we can offer top class service at great prices to the public. Our public facilities include the Pulse8 gym and sports centre, the Endeavour restaurant, the Vancouver hair and beauty spa, children's centre, the equine centre (at Milton) and K9 dog grooming services.
King's Lynn Sports Centre and Pulse8
Pulse8 health and fitness was opened in September 2003 boasting a large cardiovascular / resistance and free weight area. We constantly strive to improve the fitness centre by updating and adding equipment to maintain an up-to-date fitness facility, which is used for a variety of uses as well as a teaching area for the College of West Anglia. We have a large medical referral scheme to help patients understand the value of improving fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
We have a large sports hall for badminton, 5 a side football, netball, basketball etc as well as a dance studio for a mixture of activities such as aerobics, circuits, cardio combat, etc. We also have 2 squash courts, a pool table, a spin studio, table tennis facilities and sun beds.
Membership and Price List
Kings Lynn Sports Centre and Pulse8 Health + Fitness Centre offer a discount Membership card scheme which entitles members to discounts on activities within the facility. The Membership cards are annual payments which then entitles the holder to the Membership Card prices as opposed to the Non-Membership Card fees.

Hair & Beauty
The College of West Anglia's hair and beauty students train in salons at the King's Lynn and Isle campus. These outstanding facilities offer a range of low priced treatments available to the public and students. Hairdressing students provide a wide range of low cost shampoo, cuts, styles and colours. Beauty students offer a full-range of beauty treatments at The Therapy Centre, including facial and body treatments, waxing, epilation and spa treatments. Special promotions are displayed around the College throughout the year.
Opening Times
Opening times can vary so please check with us before coming in. For King's Lynn, phone (01553) 815333 or phone 01945 582 561 for Isle. Treatments are carried out by students under the supervision of qualified and experienced staff. However, this is a training establishment and our primary purpose is to train students, therefore, be prepared for some treatments to take a little longer on occasion and our prices reflect this.
The Endeavour Restaurant & Harrier Coffee Shop
The Harrier Coffee Shop and Endeavour Restaurant offer great food at very reasonable prices. Run by the College's hospitality department, our students train and develop their skills under the expert supervision of experienced staff. We offer a unique combination of expertly-prepared food and dedicated service, but don't take our word for it - come along and try it out for yourself!
Dog Grooming
Our K9 Dog grooming Centre caters for most dog breeds, bathing, grooming, scissoring, handstripping, nails and ear cleaning services are all offered. Not only are all staff City and guilds or NVQ qualified, we share a passion for our job and really have a love of dog's. With over 30 years experience your pets are in good hands.
Childcare / Nursery
King's Lynn
The College's Applewood Children's Nursery in King's Lynn offers a safe, fun and friendly environment for children from 2 months to 5 years old. All staff are highly trained and experienced and aim to provide the best possible care and stimulation. The centre is registered with Social Services and in 2007 received an 'Excellent' after being inspected by OfSTED, which is the highest rating the inspectors can give.
Equine centre
Our equine centre is located at our Cambridge campus in Milton. As well as our college courses we are able to offer a range of facilities available to the general public. We also put on a number of events throughout the year.
Our equine therapy centre opened in November 2009. This facility boasts an aqua treadmill, solarium, hydrotherapy, magnetic treatments and equissage to name a few.
As a member of CWAGG, our riding club, you will be entitled to discounts on events and bookings. In addition, working livery packages are available.
Student Life
King's Lynn is an historic medieval port dating back to the 12th century, situated on the River Great Ouse. It has a shopping area with a mix of national retailers and specialist shops.
There are also a number of entertainment venues including The Corn Exchange and King's Lynn Arts Centre. The town holds two festivals each summer. The King's Lynn Festival is primarily a classical music festival; it is held in historic venues throughout town, and attracts big names from Orchestras to Opera and stage-plays. Festival Too is one of the top three largest free music festivals in Europe and is held on The Tuesday Market Place. Past performances include Midge Ure, Wizard, Deacon Blue, Suzi Quatro, Gerry and The Pacemakers,10CC, Mungo Jerry, and The Human League.
