ESEC is the Iberian campus of the Toulouse Business School, which is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Toulouse. It is a public higher education establishment that was founded in 1903. It has 4 000 students and a network made of more than 12 000 former students all over the world. It benefits from agreements with more than 145 international institutions. A Faculty made of Doctors and business professionals, 8 research centres and 3 campuses in Toulouse, Barcelona and Casablanca.
In 2011 it achieved the 20th position in the ranking of the best Master in Management of the Financial Times.

ESEC was founded in 1995 by the ESC Toulouse Group and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Barcelona with the aim of opening a high quality business school similar to those of the "Grandes Ecoles", throughly international, allowing its students to feel at ease with the linguistic, cultural, and business area on both sides of the Pyrenees.
In 2004, Toulouse Business School assumed control of ESEC, to create the Iberian Campus of the group.
In 2008, due to the continuous growth of the school, Barcelona Campus moved to new facilities in the heart of Barcelona.
Barcelona Campus has obtained also the three prestigious international accreditations of the education sector (EQUIS, AMBA, AACSB) as it has been also audited following the same parameters of the Groupe Toulouse Business School.

Toulouse Business School has obtained the three prestigious international accreditations of this sector (EQUIS, AMBA, AACSB), which comes as a guarantee of the quality of their diplomas. At the international scale, only 48 Business Schools in the world can pride themselves on havng these three accreditations between 796 that have almost just one accreditation, so just 6% in the world. In Spain, only ESADE, the Instituto de Empresa and IESE have also achieved them.
