The Macromedia University for Media and Communication (MHMK) offers practical courses in the media hubs of Munich, Stuttgart, Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin covering all the essential aspects of digital and analog media production and management. The focus at MHMK is on developing skills and building character. All the professors are extremely dedicated to working with students on their personal and professional development.
The Bachelor’s Degree courses Media Management, Digital Media Production, Film and Television, and Journalism cover the whole spectrum of media, ranging from print to Internet, television to feature films, design to animation and also the management and marketing of media products.
The new Master’s Degree courses Media and Communication Management and Media and Design have started in the Winter term 2009/2010 at MHMK. These courses combine cross-media thinking with entrepreneurship and can be studied either full-time or part-time while working.

The MHMK Career Service
The MHMK campuses in the cities of Munich, Stuttgart, Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin offer all students the ideal environment in which to take their first steps in the media business world. The MHMK career service supports all students and graduates on their prospective path to the world of work.
The Career Service is a competent point of contact promoting dialogue between students and companies in all MHMK disciplines. It also acts as service provider for companies, including helping them to recruit potential employees. The fundamental aim of the Career Service is to establish long-lasting cooperation between students and graduates, faculties and companies for the benefit of all concerned by opening lines of communication.

Student Life
The Macromedia University offers students a modern and friendly learning atmosphere which is most conducive to success. The premises are more like an agency than an educational institution. Bright rooms with modern information and communications infrastructure provide the perfect setting for effective teaching, learning and concentrated discussion.
On the technical side, the university has a vast range of IT equipment (Mac & PC computers and laptops) and sound and TV recording studios at several locations on-campus.
Students work on computers with 19" or 20" TFT monitors. All workstations have Internet and network connections.
The network available to our students is a 1-gigabit network, which facilitates networking with the speed of a local hard drive.
The Macromedia University's radio station in Munich is designed for professional use: Airbase, cart machine, CD player and CD burner, headset, two guest microphones. Sounds, effects and jingles can be input from two audio PCs at the touch of a button. A music archive is also available.
The Macromedia University campuses in Munich and Cologne offer TV recording studios equipped with 3 studio cameras, blue screen and digital lighting in which, for example, interviews, can be recorded.

MHMK is recognized and accredited by the Bavarian Federal State.
All Bachelor- und Master Programs are internationally recognized and accredited by FIBAA or Acquin.
