IE is an international institution dedicated to educating business leaders through programs based on our core values of global focus, entrepreneurial spirit and a humanistic approach.
Our 500-strong, international faculty teaches a student body composed of more than 80 nationalities on our Undergraduate (IE University), Master, and Doctorate degrees, and Executive Education programs. Our alumni, now numbering over 37,000, hold management positions in some 100 countries worldwide.
We champion applied research coupled with multidisciplinary, integrative education programs. Designed to address market demands, our innovative learning processes comprise a blend of online and onsite formats, making IE a pioneer in international education.

IE Business School is situated in the heart of Madrid’s Financial district, a strategic location that is very well-communicated.
The IE Business School campus has a surface area of some 20,000m2 distributed among 17 buildings located in a district of Madrid, known as the Barrio de Salamanca.
IE Business School participates in international associations from the business world. This permits the School to enjoy close links with its corporate network, keeping abreast of the latest trends in management while analysing new management models.
Alumni clubs
IE Alumni Association chapters strive to connect all those who have passed through IE’s halls, and who live in the same geographic region, whilst also maintaining students’ links with IE itself.
The Alumni Association chapters also have, as one of their central roles, the promotion of life-long learning amongst IE graduates, the exchange of information and experiences, as well promoting the professional development of its members.
IE Business School has been recognised by the world's most important institutions.
Achievements include a triple crown comprising accreditation by EQUIS (European quality Improvement Systems), AMBA (Association of MBAs) and AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), this last accreditation being the most recent, having been awarded in April 2002.
