The University of New York in Prague provides a variety of services and facilities to make the students' educational experience both more enjoyable and fulfilling.
Students have access to three computer labs, and access to the WIFI network in the building. This allows students easy access to work on projects, complete assignments or carry out research.
We also have a comprehensive reference library. Although, as usual, students are expected to purchase their own text books, the library is an invaluable source in project research, and completion of the final thesis.
To relax, students have access to the student lounge. Students can relax, play games or watch satellite TV on a large flat screen TV.
UNYP also runs a Career Office with the primary aim of helping students with their careers. Our close ties with the local business community allows us to invite companies for job days where companies recruit students, place job offereings for both undergraduate and graduate students, or offer work placements and internships.

As a new member state of the European Union, the Czech Republic has made many strides forward since the Velvet Revolution in 1989. Like Prague, the provinces of Bohemia and Moravia provide many opportunities for students to explore and experience. There are over 3000 castles, palaces, historic monuments, and preserved medieval towns throughout the country. Moreover, nature lovers can enjoy a host of national parks and protected nature reserves with superb scenery while sports enthusiasts can find many locations for hiking, climbing, skiing and snowboarding.
Climate Czech Republic has a moderate continental climate with four distinctive seasons. The average temperature in the winter (December to March) is about -5°C (23°F) and in the summer (June to September) is about 20°C (68°F).
