Programme Structure

To achieve this degree you will need to complete 120 credits at each award stage, totalling 360 credits to achieve the BSc.

To achieve the top-up degree you will need to compete a total of 120 credits made up from the core modules and optional 20 credit modules at Stage 3 only.

English language qualification

If English is not your first language you will need an English language qualification. For this course you will need at least one of the following:

Application for exemption on the basis of prior academic study, professional qualifications or professional experience.

Entry to any other stage of the programme may be possible subject to the University’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) procedures which may give credit for prior skills, experience or learning. If a student has gained a qualification in a relevant subject prior, we may be able to reward this hard work with an exemption on the course.

An applicant’s significant life and work experience can be taken as the equivalent to traditional qualifications, but the Admissions Tutor reserves the right to interview an individual to ascertain the relevance of their work and life experience as an acceptable qualification for the programme.
