Our degree has been developed with input from professional accountancy bodies and financial institutions. Courses focus on practical skills using software and systems such as MS Excel, MS Access, Visual Studio and SAGE 50 accounts software.

If you successfully complete this degree with the relevant course options, you will be exempt from a number of exam papers leading to professional qualifications from ACCA, AIA, CIMA and CIPFA. This will set you on the path to becoming a qualified accountant after university and increasing career earning potential within accountancy sector.

You will study core and optional courses with an emphasis on financial systems and models, including quantitative analysis and management accounting control systems.

Applicants should have:

280 UCAS points

FROM at least two A-levels or equivalent qualifications

PLUS GCSEs at grade C or above in English and mathematics or equivalent qualifications.

* Applicants who do not have English as their first language require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill) or equivalent in a Secure English Language Test.

* Applicants with professional qualifications and/or four or more years' full-time work experience are considered on an individual basis.
