This programme is for those with specific interests in business management, operations, and planning theory. It's for students who intend on becoming qualified in management positions in a variety of industries.

The aims of the programme are:

  • To prepare you for careers in business and management by developing your systematic, broad, analytical and integrated understanding of key aspects of business
  • To study organisations, business and management and the changing external environment in which organisations operate
  • To equip you with both practical skills that enhance their employability in business, and with broader cognitive, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills which provide the foundation for lifelong learning.

Applicants should have:

280 UCAS points, with average 50% in relevant subject area

FROM either a foundation degree or HND in business or management

OR two years successful study of business and management at an accredited and approved provider of higher education.

* Applicants must be competent in English. Applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill) or equivalent in a Secure English Language Test. Alternatively, students with an overall IELTS of 5 or 5.5 can study our Pre-Sessional English language programme prior to degree studies.

Admission to UK universities often requires that students have completed 13 years of formal education with recognized qualifications. International students should consider taking a Pre-Bachelor to gain access to UK universities when:

  • You are considered ineligible for admission
  • You need to improve your academic, study, research or language skills
