There is a particular emphasis on people management skills for you to become confident in handling complex interpersonal interactions.

This programme aims to develop your professional and practical skills to become an effective manager of teams and individuals. It enables you to acquire in-depth understanding of key business concepts and prepares you for work in a number of management roles. There is a particular emphasis on people management skills for you to become confident in handling complex interpersonal interactions. The programme is influenced by academia and employers and there are many opportunities offered to use experience from part-time work to enrich learning.

The programme can be taken with sandwich placement or a 3 or 6 month internship. The programme also offers the opportunity to complete an additional (non-qualification) Greenwich Graduate certificate, which will help to demonstrate skills to future employers. You may also apply to participate in overseas exchanges with our Erasmus partners.

The aims of the programme are:

  • To study organisations, particularly their management and changing contexts
  • To enhance lifelong learning skills and personal development allowing you to contribute to society at large.

Applicants should have:

280 UCAS points or above

PLUS GCSEs at grade C or above in English and mathematics or equivalent qualifications.

• Applications from mature students are welcome.

• Applicants who do not have English as their first language require IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent).

• Direct entry to Year 2 and 3 is available for qualified applicants.

Work Experience

No work experience is required.

Accreditation

Students can apply for associate membership of the Chartered Management Institute on graduation and full membership after three years of management experience.
