The aim of the program

The curriculum of BSc in Physiotherapy Programme is aimed to prepare students for the prevention, medication and rehabilitation of movement system disorders and other diseases using the therapeutic tools of physiotherapy.

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physiotherapy
  • Entry requirements: secondary school certificate or senior high school diploma
  • Course length: 8 semesters (On the basis of individual study the course can be completed in 7 semesters)
  • Credits: 240 credits

Postgraduate opportunities

The University of Debrecen offers a lot of internationally competitive master courses among them the MSc in Public Health course in English. Also, by the year 2012 the Faculty is planning on launching a new MSc course in Complex Rehabilitation available for English-speaking students as well.

Requirements for Physiotherapy

Secondary school certificate or senior high school diploma

Admission Requirements

  • written test from Biology, Chemistry and Physics (1 hour);
  • oral exam compulsory from Biology and Physics or Chemistry.
BSc in Physiotherapy, BSc in Public Health, MSc in Public Health and MSc in Molecular Biology applicants need to sit for an entrance interview only, there is no written test. As part of the oral interview the committee tests the English communicational skills and the motivation of the applicant.
The fee of the entrance interview is the same as the entrance exam, 350 USD.
