Individual study process
Individual study takes place mainly in the form of intensive weekend workshops and ongoing consultations with teachers. At the beginning of the semester there is an introductory workshop where the student will be acquainted with the content of the courses they have to complete during the semester. The teacher will draw attention to key themes and identify the strengths and weaknesses of students in particular topics. After the workshop the teachers prepare a learning plan with the individual student. The plan specifies the actual number and scope of consultations. If necessary, the student can communicate with their teacher by phone, electronically or in person. Students have at their disposal high quality learning materials (such as written texts, solved and unsolved examples, new audio / video lectures and self-tests) which are available at any time and from any place with an Internet connection. Just as at the beginning of the semester, a final workshop is organised at the end of the semester, where the student sums up the knowledge gained during the semester. After completion of this workshop, the student is ready to take their examinations.
