The 3-year programme has been designed for international students with basic command of the Polish language, i.e. B1 level. Courses are taught by experienced teachers from the Institute of Polish Philology at AMU.
The programme includes:
* Intensive language courses, both in the Polish language and English or German as a second language
* Basic Latin
* Courses in Polish Literature
* Courses in Polands and World History
* Polish Culture
* Linguistics: Polish phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and history of the Polish language
* Philosophy
* Translation Workshops
* Writing Workshops
Students may choose selected electives offered by European University Viadrina.
Secondary school leaving certificate qualifying to enter higher education
Applicants are expected to already know Polish at the B1 level or have completed an intensive PREPARATORY Polish language course (600 hours) before applying.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
