Bachelor in International Studies

The BA International Studies offered by Leiden University is an interdisciplinary, international, comparative area studies degree taught and examined entirely in English. The core concepts, ideas and methods are taken from four broad disciplinary approaches: history, cultural studies, economics and political science (and both sociology and anthropology).

Bachelor in International Business and Languages

International Business and Languages is a four year full-time programme entirely taught in English. You will learn the ins and outs of doing business internationally. You will also learn to communicate in a variety of languages. Besides English you will chose two additional foreign languages. Having succesfully completed the programme you can work as an intermediairy between a company and its business relations abroad.

Bachelor in Dutch Studies

During your studies you will not only learn Dutch, but you also study the language to gain insight into its structure and development.

Bachelor in European Studies

Examines the political, historical, social and cultural aspects of European integration. A three-year, English-language programme with a strong interdisciplinary character.

Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences

For students who do not want to be limited to a single academic discipline. UCM offers 150 courses in almost all academic disciplines. The 3-year programme is entirely in English.

Bachelor in European Studies

European Studies is a 4 year bachelor's degree programme, taught in English at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in Maastricht (The Netherlands). You will study 3 foreign languages and take a wide range of courses in the fields of communication, marketing, law, politics, public policy and culture. The programme is aimed at training you to become a specialist in European matters, a professional that can work in an increasingly international working environment, both in the private and public sector. The study programme provides you with advanced skills in intercultural and strategic communication, proficiency in at least 3 foreign languages and general management skills.

The World Tourism Organisation expects to see a hundred percent increase in arrivals and turnover within the next twenty years, which will give rise to a a growing demand for professionals in the field. The International Tourism Management programme is directed at sustainable tourism development with a concern for the community. Tourism can make a useful contribution to the (economical) development of a place, region or country if sustainable tourism is the starting point of the development. The International Tourism Management programme trains students for management, policy-making and consultancy positions in the international tourism industry.

Bachelor in American Studies

University of Groningen

The University of Groningen is the only university in The Netherlands to offer a Bachelor degree in American Studies. All courses are designed and developed specifically for American Studies. This has resulted in a program that is transparent, coherent and exciting. It was categorized as "Excellent" in the recent national quality assurance exercise.
