About

Vistula University is one of the first private universities of Poland. Founded in 1996 as University of Economics and Computer Science (UECS), it is supervised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of The Republic of Poland and accredited by the State Accreditation Committee. In 2012 it joined Academy of Finance and now there are not only Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs but also PhD degree can be obtained in the University. Vistula has twice received the titles of ‘Ambassador of Polish Science’ and “Leader University”, for its innovative education. In 2012 University gained the award “The best partner for business” from Home & Market company.

VISTULA has proven its dedication to its mission through creating an excellent environment for education and research - a fact, attested by its nearly 20 thousand graduates. Located in one of Europe’s most fascinating and fastest growing capital cities, and fully accredited within all 27 member countries of the EU, VISTULA has a uniquely international atmosphere with study programs tailored to the requirements of competitive global markets of tomorrow.

VISTULA offers its 5000 students and 300 distinguished faculty members one of the most beautiful and modern campuses in Warsaw. Within a 25 000m² indoor-area, there are: 8 computer labs, 7 auditoriums, 60 lecture halls, a rich and a specially designed library, Olympic sports hall and gyms. Outdoors areas contain tennis courts, parking for 300+ vehicles and general recreation facilities. There is on-site basic medical services available for all students and faculty. Only a 50 meters distance to the only subway line of Warsaw, we are accessible easily from all parts of the city. We do our best to take excellent care of international students. We offer study and sightseeing tours, domestic and international trips, conferences and seminars; cultural events and celebrations, sport sections and competitions, students organizations and scientific clubs - Diplomacy club, IT club, AIESEC, Tourism club, Wushu, soccer, Bridge club, Oriental arts club, Business Incubator, adaptation and student buddy programs.
