The Pole Universitaire Léonard de Vinci was created in 1995 through an initiative with the Conseil Général des Hauts-de-Seine. The objective of the Pole at its creation was to train students through new pedagogical approaches and unique methods in order to effectively facilitate their transition into the job market.
The 3 schools that make up the Pole have developed a transversal approach that encourages the division of instruction. This allows students to work together in multidisciplinary teams with classmates from all three schools all while continuing to advance in their courses and expand their knowledge.
The De Vinci Research Center (DVRC) brings together the research strengths of all 3 Leonard de Vinci schools and is composed of 43 research professors and 3 doctoral candidates. The research center aims to promote the development of state of the art scientific expertise and to share findings with the research/economic communities. They also aspire to develop quality research in various disciplines in order to enhance courses for students within the different schools. The labs allow the schools to obtain the national and international accreditations needed for their development. The 4 Research Groups :
