Casimirus Siemienowicz) is the name of a new institution, a name that symbolises the link with Lithuanias past and one that also symbolises a future of innovation and progress. By adopting the name of Lithuanias most famous scientist the pioneer of rocketry and pyrotechnics KSU signifying the determination to continue the best traditions of scientific thought where human progress is determined by a combination of new technology, self-expression and through a network that spans the globe.

History

Kazimieras Simonavicius University (KSU), founded in 2003, is an accredited private institution of higher education with campuses in Vilnius and Klaipeda, Lithuania. KSU stands out for its innovative approach to learning and its entrepreneurial values.

Education

The studies cover major areas of Social Sciences – Business and Management, Public Administration, Law, Communication, Economics, Political Sciences and Sociology – as well as Technological Sciences in the field of Information Technologies. The University offers 13 Bachelor’s, 6 Master’s and 1 Integrated programmes, as well as life-long learning studies and courses.

Buddy Programme in KSU

The main purpose of this programme is to assist international students in their integration into the Lithuanian life and to complete their study period successfully. International students can find support from the very beginning of their exchange period from one of the KSU mentor students, who will help them to find their way through, before and during their stay in Vilnius.

Library services

The library of Kazimieras Simonavicius University is an academic library. It collects, manages, protects and provides to readers documents issued in Lithuania and abroad. The largest part of the Library’s collection consists of the literature of social sciences, law and business.
